My Art Progress 我的绘图进化史

2018年10月的时候决定给自己购入一台iPad，然后就开启了我随时随地都可以画画的旅途。除了画油画的时间以外，其余的时候我都是泡在iPad里研究各种笔刷。
In October 2018, I bought myself an iPad, which allows me to draw whenever or wherever I want. When I'm not painting with oil or watercolor, I enjoy experimenting with different brushes on my iPad.

记得2019年中的时候，我上了一堂我很喜欢的课。那堂课是关于我们读了一篇故事、一首诗，然后就开始描绘想象中的世界，也就是插画。我们可以使用自己喜欢的媒材来作画，当然要趁这么好的时机用我刚研究的Digital Art啦！
In Spring of 2019, I took a class that I really enjoyed. The class focused on creating illustrations for stories and poems that we read. We were free to use any medium we wanted, and I took advantage of this opportunity to use the Digital Art I had just learned!

从我学习开始用画板的时候，我画的都是简单的漫画，不需要使用太多复杂的笔刷。因为我想要成为一名童书插画家，所以逼迫自己开始学习各类笔刷。一开始真的有点挣扎，因此画得很单调、笔刷的使用也有点乱。随着时间的推移，由于每天不断的练习，也把在油画上学习过的技巧，应用在Digital Art上，有了显著的进步。
I didn't require complicated brushes because I only drew comics on a tablet. However, I wanted to pursue a career in children's book illustrations, to be able to create colorful drawings, I must learn different brushes. Initially, it was quite challenging, my brushstrokes looked fuzzy in my drawings. I continued practicing the oil painting method in my digital paintings, and my skills improved significantly over the years.

2020的时候我特别努力的寻找自己的风格，每天都在画，从大自然到食物到动物到肖像画。现在有固定的两种风格已经焊在我手上了，可以随意切换两个画风 :)
In 2020, I put in a lot of effort to develop my unique style. I would draw various subjects such as nature, food, animals, and portraits. As a result of my hard work, I now have two favorite styles that I am comfortable with, and I can easily switch between them whenever I want :)

虽然我一直在画，但是却没有什么突破。于是我在网上下载了一堂课， Digital Painting: Color and Light. 这堂课教的是怎么让彩色、光和影子使作品变得比较丰富。不瞒你们说，我画画真的进步神速！所以这里想和大家分享的是，如果你认为你的画经过了好久、好久的努力都没有任何蜕变，那就从想要进步的部分下手，譬如色彩、透视等等，很快就能采收结果了。
I haven't seen any improvement in my drawing although I spent most of my time working on it. So I purchased an online course called 'Digital Painting: Color and Light'. This course helped me learn how to apply vivid colors, light, and shadow in my artwork. After taking this course, I noticed a significant change in my artwork. If you feel like you're stuck making progress while drawing, despite putting a lot of effort into every subject, try focusing on specific areas you want to improve, such as colors, perspective, or other techniques.
